What this notice covers

This notice covers the current version of the inFAMOUS Second Son PC guide at infamoussecondsonpc.com. References to “we” or “this site” mean this independent guide website. Privacy questions can be sent using our contact page.

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand visits and how readers use the guides and have installed Google AdSense and Adsterra code for advertising. Whether ads appear depends on provider approval, advertising settings and available inventory. The site includes no user accounts, payments, newsletter signup, or contact form.

Hosting & delivery

This website uses Cloudflare Workers Static Assets for hosting and delivery. Cloudflare processes network requests and may process security and operational information as part of providing that service.

When you browse

Loading a page sends a request to the server delivering it. Cloudflare, our hosting and delivery provider, may process information such as your IP address, requested URL, request time, browser details, and referring page to deliver content, troubleshoot errors, or protect the service.

Cloudflare operates a global network. We do not promise a particular processing country or a fixed retention period for Cloudflare service records. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy for its description of service data processing. Fonts and game artwork used by the pages are served with the site; loading them does not require a request to Google Fonts or an external image host.

Google Analytics

After you enable Google Analytics in Privacy choices, the production website loads its script to measure page views and site usage. Information sent to Google may include page addresses and titles, referring pages, browser and device details, and interactions measured by the service. We use these reports to understand readership and improve the guides.

Our page-view configuration omits URL fragments and arbitrary query parameters. It retains simple campaign labels such as utm_source and utm_campaign. Referrer details are reduced to the referring site, or a known guide page on this website. Please do not put personal information in campaign links.

Google Analytics uses first-party cookies to distinguish browsers and sessions. We do not send email correspondence or account identifiers to Analytics. For details about Google’s processing, see how Google uses information from sites that use its services and Google’s privacy policy.

You can manage or delete cookies in your browser and use Google’s Analytics opt-out browser add-on where supported. Local development and Workers preview domains do not load our analytics tag.

Google AdSense, Adsterra & advertising

This site includes Google AdSense code. Google and other advertising providers may collect and use information such as your IP address, browser and device details, page visits, and interactions with ads to deliver and measure advertising, prevent fraud, and support their services.

Google’s advertising tag loads on the main guide and its related guide pages and supplies the Google consent message where applicable. Adsterra loads only after you separately allow native advertising. About, Contact, Privacy, Terms and error pages do not initialize advertising. Code installation does not mean Google has approved the site or that an ad will be available.

Third-party providers, including Google, may place or read cookies, use web beacons, or use other identifiers when ads are served. Advertising cookies may enable ads based on visits to this and other websites, subject to your choices and applicable consent settings. See how Google uses information from sites that use its services.

If you allow Adsterra in Privacy choices, guide pages include a native banner below the main content, labeled “Advertisement.” Adsterra and its partners may process device and browser details, IP addresses, cookies, and ad interactions to deliver and measure ads. See Adsterra’s privacy policy and its cookies policy for details and available choices.

Use “Privacy choices” in the footer to separately enable or reject Google Analytics and Adsterra. Both are off until you opt in. In the EEA, UK and Switzerland, Google’s own consent message manages Google advertising partners and purposes; its choice does not enable Analytics or Adsterra. Use “Manage Google advertising consent” from Privacy choices on a guide page to revisit that decision.

Withdrawing an optional-service choice reloads the page to stop that service and removes the Analytics cookies this site can access. It does not undo earlier processing or promise deletion of third-party storage; you can clear that in your browser.

You can manage Google’s personalized advertising choices in My Ad Center and learn about participating providers’ choices at YourAdChoices. Your browser also provides cookie controls. Turning off personalized advertising does not necessarily remove all ads.

Cookies & browser storage

After you opt in, Google Analytics may set first-party cookies, including cookies named _ga and _ga_ followed by an identifier, to measure visitors and sessions. Advertising services may also use cookies and similar technologies as described above. The site does not include embedded social-media players.

Cloudflare security features may set cookies when those features are used, for example to remember a completed security challenge. This is separate from advertising or analytics tags in the site code. See Cloudflare’s cookie documentation for the purposes and durations of its cookies.

We store your optional-service choices in your browser under secondson-privacy-v1 for up to 180 days. This storage remembers your decision; it is not an advertising identifier. Google’s CMP maintains its separate advertising consent record. Your browser may cache page files as part of normal browsing. You can manage cached files and website permissions in your browser settings. The services you visit through external links have their own cookie and storage practices.

When you email us

If you choose to email us, your message may include your email address, display name, message text, and any attachments you send. That information is used to understand and handle your question, correction, rights concern, or privacy request. Sending a message does not subscribe you to marketing emails.

Email is processed through your email service and the service receiving the message. Those providers may keep delivery records and backups under their own policies. Please send only relevant information and remove sensitive details from screenshots or logs.

No fixed mailbox retention schedule has been established. You can ask about or request deletion of correspondence using the contact details below; we cannot promise that deletion from a mailbox immediately removes copies from provider backups.

Links to other websites

Guides link to independently operated services, including official platform websites and GitHub repositories. Following a link takes you to a service with its own privacy practices. A destination may receive standard request information, including a referring site address, depending on browser and site settings.

We do not control those services. Read their notices before signing in, downloading software, or posting a public issue. Do not include private information in public bug reports.

Your questions & notice updates

Depending on where you live and the rules that apply, you may have rights concerning personal information, such as asking for access, correction, or deletion. Email support@infamoussecondsonpc.com to explain your request and the relevant correspondence. We may need enough information to identify the message and verify that the request is yours.

This notice will need updating if the site changes its analytics, advertising, or introduces services such as forms. The date at the top of the page identifies this version. Our About page explains the guide’s independent purpose.
